Gathered in Gratitude Group Show

November 15th  - February 21st

Artist Submission Deadline: October 20th

Call for Artists: We are now accepting submissions for a special 3-month holiday exhibition featuring wall art and handmade goods available for immediate purchase. We’re looking for works with seasonal themes and pieces that evoke a sense of family, joy, gratitude, growth, and transformation—perfect for the reflective and celebratory spirit of the holidays. This is a unique opportunity to share meaningful, giftable artwork with our wide audience during the busiest season of the year. Join us in creating a warm, welcoming collection that speaks to the heart of the season.

GROUP SHOW  | Mental Health Awareness Month

May - June (Dates TBD)

Call for Artists: Mental Health Advocacy Through Art
We are seeking artists whose work and personal stories advocate for mental health awareness. This is more than an exhibition—it’s a platform to share how creativity and artistic expression have supported your mental well-being and personal growth. Selected artists will have the opportunity to exhibit their work and be featured in our blog, sharing their story and inspiring others through the healing power of art. We’re especially interested in pieces that go beyond aesthetics to reflect themes of resilience, self-discovery, emotional honesty, and transformation. Join us in our mission to champion both the arts and mental health by contributing your voice and vision to this powerful initiative.

2026 Openings

We have space left to fill for the remainder of 2026 for either your own solo, duo, or group show based on the volume of work. Please fill out our application and we will look for your best oppurtunity!

At Art & Frame, we’re committed to supporting artists at all stages of their careers and creating meaningful, community-driven exhibitions. We strive to maintain a professional, inclusive, and respectful environment that uplifts both artists and visitors. To ensure a smooth and successful experience, all participating artists must adhere to the following guidelines and standards:

Artist Eligibility & Ethics

1. Local Roots
Artists must currently live in Kansas or have a meaningful past connection to the region.

2. Original Work & Copyright
All works must be original and created by the submitting artist. We do not accept reproductions or works that closely mimic others unless clearly permitted under lawful fair use or parody. Artists retain full intellectual property rights over their work.

3. Artistic Integrity
We expect honesty, integrity, and professionalism from all artists. We do not accept work that contains hate speech, discriminatory content, or targets any individual or group in a degrading manner or uses AI more than a minimal degree in their artistic process. Art & Frame reserves the right to remove any artist or artwork that we believe violates these values.

Artistic & Exhibition Standards

4. Medium
We welcome a wide variety of media including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, fiber, digital, and mixed media. We're excited to showcase diverse and creative work.

5. Presentation
All artwork must be delivered display-ready. This includes appropriate framing, mounting, or hanging hardware. We use a wire rail system. Framing and professional finishing services are available to exhibiting artists at discounted rates.

6. Safety
Art must be suitable for a shared public space. No toxic, flammable, or otherwise hazardous materials are allowed.

7. Exclusivity During Exhibition
Work shown in our gallery should not be exhibited at other competing local venues during the exhibition period.

8. Body of Work Requirements
Artists should be able to meet the following general volume expectations:

  • Solo Exhibition: 20–40 pieces
  • Duo Exhibition: 15–20 pieces
  • Group Exhibition: 3–5 pieces
(Exact numbers may vary depending on size, layout, and gallery needs.)

We also encourage offering prints and merchandise (e.g., shirts, stickers, cards), which we can help produce through our network of trusted partners.

Professionalism & Collaboration

9. Pricing Consistency
Artists must maintain consistent pricing across all selling platforms—whether the work is sold through our gallery, other galleries on your website, or directly. Consistency protects the value of your work and fosters trust with collectors.

10. Sales & Commission
Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, all displayed works should be for sale. Art & Frame will process all sales during the exhibition period, subject to a standard 40% commission. A separate commission agreement will be signed prior to installation.

11. Marketing & Promotion
Art & Frame promotes all exhibitions via our website, event sites and social media channels. Artists are expected to actively promote their show through their own platforms content as well. Personalized efforts—like reaching out to collectors or sharing behind-the-scenes content—are highly encouraged.

12. Community Engagement
Artists are expected to attend opening and closing receptions, talks, or special events tied to their exhibit. We encourage artists to connect with guests, share their story, and help build a welcoming and inspiring experience for visitors.

13. Conduct & Communication
Artists should represent themselves and the gallery with professionalism, enthusiasm, and pride. Respond promptly to gallery communications and meet all deadlines related to promotion, delivery, and pickup.

Exhibition Logistics

14. Artwork Labels
Each piece must have a label no larger than 3"x3" and include the following:

  • Artist’s full name
  • Contact information (email, website, or social media)
  • Title
  • Medium
  • Dimensions
  • Price

15. Inventory & Contact Info
Submit a complete inventory list with matching label information, along with full artist contact details:

16. Agreements
All exhibiting artists must sign an exhibition agreement and a commission agreement before installation. These documents outline expectations, responsibilities, timelines, and payment terms.
