Christince Vumai is the owner of Wichita Ashtanga Yoga Studio, located in Revolutsia. With nearly two decades of dedicated practice, she guides students beyond the physical poses, helping them reconnect with their true selves through curiosity, compassion, and playfulness.

In addition to teaching yoga, Christince is a museum teacher at the Wichita Art Museum (WAM) and a fiber artist and knitting instructor for Coast to Coast Yarn Co. Her creative passions weave naturally into her teaching, blending mindfulness, art, and self-expression.

A proud voice in the recovery community, Christince shares her experience of sobriety — thoughtfully integrating yogic wisdom with her journey of healing to support and inspire others.

For Christince, yoga is more than movement — it’s a way of life, a creative practice, and a tool for true transformation. Her mission is to share the gifts that yoga and creativity offers, making it accessible everybody weather new or established in their healing journey.
